AMA AGM, Awards, Elections and National Conference

AMA’s AGM will be held at 7pm AEST on 26 May. The video meeting is open to all members. Meeting notices will be sent to members by 5 May.

Nominations are open for AMA awards. Members may nominate a colleague for an award by clicking on the following categories:

Nominations for election to Federal Council opened on 8 April and close on 6 May. AMA members may nominate for election here. AMA has a target of 40% women, 40% men, and 20% flexible for all AMA Councils, Committees and Boards. A target of women holding 50% of AMA elected positions has been set. Nominations reflecting the diversity of the membership and that assist in achieving AMA gender balance targets are encouraged.

All AMA members are also invited to attend the 29-31 July AMA National Conference. To be held in Sydney and by video, the three-day CPD eligible program includes international and national medical leaders as speakers. To view conference speakers, click here.
