Snowy Monaro Regional Council is excited to announce the successful funding recipients of the 2022 Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund, with tens of thousands of dollars in funding awarded to a diverse array of community initiatives and organisations across the former Cooma-Monaro and Bombala Local Government Areas (LGAs).
This year sees 21 successful funding applications awarded a combined $253,146.
The Boco Rock Community Enhancement Fund Committee was established as a result of the development approval of the Boco Rock Wind Farm through the NSW Government Department of Planning.
The Committee is made up of community members from the two former LGAs and a representative from Boco Rock Wind Farm, and is wholly responsible for reviewing applications and determining successful applicants.
Expenditure by the Committee is specifically restricted to the former Bombala and former Cooma-Monaro Local Government Areas as a condition of the development approval.
