APA does STEPtember – meet teams

This September, the team at Australian Payroll Association are taking part in STEPtember, a challenge of 10,000 steps per day for every day in September in support of people living with Cerebral Palsy. Whether it’s through early diagnosis and treatment, providing therapy and equipment or researching a cure, our stepping and fundraising efforts can go a long way in improving the lives of children and adults living with cerebral palsy.

Australian Payroll Association has split into 4 teams to complete the challenge;

Agony of De-Feet 2020

Kathleen, Tracy, Tammy & Juan

Team Captain Kathleen is looking to inspire Agony of De-Feet 2020 to 10,000 steps a day. Kathleen spends most of her time at APA working with our consulting clients and members on the helpdesk. Tammy, who our students will know, works for Australian Payroll Institute helping our students to succeed in their studies, and most of you will, of course, know Tracy, CEO of Australian Payroll Association.

APA – Ambling Payrollers Anonymous

Jasmine, Louise & Barbara

Jasmine, our self-proclaimed Social Responsibility Officer and organiser of STEPtember, is head of APA – Ambling Payrollers Anonymous. Jasmine, who is well-known to our members and Classroom training attendees, will hope to lead Louise, who looks after the success of APA’s clients, and Barbara, who usually can be found guiding our students through either the Cert IV of Payroll Admin or Diploma of Payroll Management, to victory over their colleagues.

We Get Locked Down, But We Get up Again

Amanda, Phil, Kylie and Steven

Team Captain Amanda, for whom this challenge has a special connection for, will be guiding We Get Locked Down, But We Get Up Again forwards. Phil is a Senior Consultant at Australian Payroll Association, and he teams up with Kylie, APA’s General Manager.

Pay-vement Plodders

Michele, Lewis & Maria

If her handling of APA’s accounts is anything to go by, Michele was built for the role of Team Captain of Pay-vement Plodders. Sure to run a tight ship, Michele will be ticking off every one of Lewis’, Head of Marketing & Communications and Maria’s, Chief Knowledge Officer and much-loved figure to all of APA’s members, 10,000 steps-a-day.

If you can spare any donation amount, head here and donate to the organisation, team or individuals along their journey. Any amount you can afford will be greatly appreciated by those living with Cerebral Palsy.

Thanks, and wish us luck,

Team APA
