Appeal after armed robbery – Mt Druitt

Police have released images of a man as they appeal for public information after an armed robbery in Mount Druitt in April.

Detectives have been told about 5.30pm on Thursday 13 April 2023, a man entered a business on Palmerston Road, Mount Druitt and threatened an employee with a handgun and demanded money.

After being handed a sum of money, the man ran from the store and was last seen running south on Memphis Street.

Officers attached to Mount Druitt Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation.

As inquiries continue, police have released an image of a man who police believe can assist with their inquiries.

The man is described as being Pacific Islander appearance, 170-175cm tall, solid build, with a black full-face beard. He was wearing an Adidas hoodie, grey tracksuit pants, black shoes, black gloves and sunglasses.

Anyone recognising the man or who has information which might assist the investigation is asked to call Mount Druitt Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
