Police are appealing for public assistance as officers have commenced investigation into two separate incidents in Sydney’s west last month.
- About 9pm on Friday 26 June 2026, police were called to a bus interchange on North Parade, Mount Druitt, following reports a 59-year-old man had been assaulted by an unknown person. The man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Mount Druitt Hospital for further treatment.
- Police were told about 7am on Tuesday 23 June 2026, a 15-year-old girl was approached by an unknown man at Lidcombe Railway Station before the man spoke to her, attempted to take a photo of her, and left the scene.
As inquiries continue, officers attached to Police Transport Command have released an image of two men who they believe can assist with their inquiries.
The Mount Druitt man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 60s, of medium build with white/grey short hair.
He was last seen wearing a dark grey hooded puffer jacket, dark jeans, black/white shoes, and a pair of glasses.
The Lidcombe man is described as being of Asian appearance, in his 30s, of medium build with dark short hair, beard and moustache.
He was last seen wearing a black jacket, black pants, black/khaki baseball cap, orange/white sunglasses, and a grey/white/black multi-camouflage backpack.
Inquiries established the man may have been riding a pink pushbike.
