Forensic Crash Unit officers are appealing for witnesses and dashcam vision after a man suffered critical injuries in a traffic crash on the Bruce Highway 35klm south of Rockhampton yesterday afternoon.
Around 1.30pm a blue 2019 Ford F150 dual cab utility was travelling south on the Bruce Highway near Bajool, when it crossed into the north-bound lane, colliding head-on with a white semi-trailer carrying a large metal frame.
A 31-year-old Frenchville man, the driver of the utility suffered critical injuries and was airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital.
The driver of the truck was not physically injured in the crash.
Investigators are appealing for any information in relation to the manner of driving of the vehicles prior to the crash.
