Applications Now Open For Local Road Safety Grants

The Andrews Labor Government is inviting community groups and local councils from across Victoria to apply for grants to boost road safety in their area.

Minister for Roads and Minister for Road Safety and the TAC Jaala Pulford today announced that the next round of the TAC’s Towards Zero Community Grants program is now open.

Grants of up to $30,000 are available to community groups and local councils. Applications for the grants are now open and close 8 May.

This grants program is part of the Labor Government’s $1.4 billion Towards Zero Action Plan, which aims to reduce the number of lives lost on Victoria’s roads to 200 or fewer by 2020.
