The Australian Research Council (ARC) welcomes 63 new members to the ARC College of Experts.
The ARC College of Experts comprises over 430 experts of international standing drawn from the Australian research community.
Through robust grant assessment and expert advice, College members play a central role in maintaining and strengthening the excellence, merit-based selection and integrity of ARC funded research. This ensures the Australian Government’s flagship investment focuses on meritorious research.
‘The new members join the College at an exciting time for the ARC, as we transition to the revitalised National Competitive Grants Program,’ said ARC Chief Executive Officer Professor Ute Roessner. ‘They will strengthen the College’s research leadership, multidisciplinary expertise and robust capacity for assessing the best research and ideas to support.’
The ARC College of Experts brings together diverse perspectives and experience.
‘This year’s College of Experts inductees include researchers from a wide range of disciplines, career stages and institutions. They add to the diversity, collective knowledge, and extensive experience of the College and help ensure we continue to fund outstanding research into the future.’ said Professor Roessner.
New College Members will commence their three years terms on 1 January 2027.
