The body of a teenage boy has been recovered after he went missing while swimming in a river in Sydney’s west this afternoon.
About 2.10pm (Monday 30 December 2019), police attended Parramatta Lake following reports of the 16-year-old boy’s disappearance.
A search commenced, and with the assistance of the Police Diving Unit, the boy’s body was located.
A brief will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
