A body believed to be that of a woman missing from Ermington has been located in Sydney’s west.
The 66-year-old woman was last seen at her home on Allura Street, Ermington, about 5.30pm yesterday (Monday 22 August 2022).
When she failed to return home, officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.
Following inquiries, a woman’s body was located by police in the Parramatta River, just before 11.30am today (Tuesday 23 August 2022).
The woman is yet to be formally identified, however, is believed to be that of the missing woman.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
