Boy charged after student stabbed at Glenwood, NSW

A boy has been charged after a stabbing in Glenwood yesterday (Thursday 6 May 2021).

Emergency services were called to the school in Glenwood about 1.15pm, after reports of a stabbing.

On arrival, officers found a16-year-old boy male student suffering a stab wounds to his stomach and one to his back.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to Westmead Children’s Hospital for treatment, where he remains in a stable condition.

A male student, aged 14, was arrested at the scene and was taken to Quakers Hill Police Station.

The boy was charged with two counts of wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH)

He was refused bail and will appear before a Children’s Court today (Friday 7 May 2021)
