Police have charged two teenagers over a string of alleged break and enters and stolen car offences across south Brisbane in the past week.
It will be alleged two vehicles were stolen from an address on Apollo Road in Bulimba overnight on Friday, August 18.
The occupants woke to find someone had allegedly broken into the house and taken the keys to a silver BMW and grey Hyundai Tucson.
Police will allege those cars were then used to help facilitate other alleged break-ins and attempted break-ins across the region.
The two teenagers were charged with break-in and unlawful use of a motor vehicle offences across Hawthorne, Bulimba, Cannon Hill, Runcorn, Sunnybank Hills and Bundall (Gold Coast) allegedly committed between August 15 and 18.
Furthermore, it will be alleged a white Volvo XC60 that was also used in some of the break-ins, was stolen from an address on Tosti Street in Bundall just before 4am on August 15.
A 15-year-old boy from Logan Central has been charged with 18 offences including five counts of enter dwelling and commit, four counts of attempted enter dwelling with intent and six counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
A 16-year-old boy from Kingston has been charged with seven offences including four counts of attempted enter dwelling with intent, one count of enter dwelling and commit and two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Both boys have been refused police bail and are expected to appear before the Brisbane Childrens Court on Monday, August 21.
The three cars involved in the alleged thefts are still outstanding.
