Opening hours of the council customer services desks located within the Smithfield and Gordonvale libraries will change from 1 April.
Council-related services and transactions will be available 9am to noon, Monday to Friday. The changes reflect the increase in residents choosing to use online methods to access Council services, as a result of improved online resources.
The new opening hours will enable staff to spend more time serving library patrons. The two libraries have recently extended their opening hours to be 9am-6pm Monday to Friday, and 9am-noon Saturday.
