Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation extends Maritime Museum relationship for Defence Force personnel

The Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation (CSC) has extended and expanded their partnership with the Australian National Maritime Museum.

Over the past two years every Defence Force veteran, serving member and current cadet has been able to visit the museum for free thanks to CSC.

The partnership has proven extremely popular and the agreement has now been expanded to include a ½ price offer for family and friends of veterans, serving members and current cadets.

Kevin Sumption, CEO and Director of the museum said, “The men and women of the Royal Australian Navy have played such an important role in the history of our country. The museum is a repository of objects and stories of naval history. We are so delighted that we can expand the partnership with CSC and share these with the family and friends of all ADF members, veterans and cadets.”

“We will continue to investigate other ways that we can work together to support ADF members during and post their service.”

Peter Jamieson, CSC’s Chief Customer Officer said, “We have been so pleased with the response over the past two years and we are delighted to be able to extend this to the immediate families of veterans and serving Defence Force personnel.”

“People who dedicate themselves to a career in defence deserve our recognition and appreciation. As the super fund for those who serve Australia, CSC values their dedication and is honoured to work for them every day to secure their future. Our partnership with the Museum is our way of saying thank you and recognising our veterans, serving members of Australian Defence Force, and their families and friends.”

To access the offer, current Australian Defence Force members, veterans and current cadets simply need to show a valid ADF ID card, DVA-issued card or service medals to the museum’s front of house team, or arrive in uniform, and they will receive free entry and their accompanying guests will receive the ½ price offer.
