The ongoing COVID-19 lockdown in Greater Sydney has wide-reaching effects.

While Kiama LGA is outside the current lockdown zone, we know that it impacts many in our area.

If you are experiencing increased stress or reduced mental health, we want you to know that you are not alone in feeling this way.

We urge you to seek support by contacting any of the organisations listed on our Mental Health Support page.

We would also like to reach out to anyone in our community who may be feeling vulnerable or in need of help.

Do you:

  • need help with food or medical supplies?
  • feel unsafe or at risk in your home environment?
  • live alone and are in need of social contact?
  • want help connecting with your friends, family or community groups online?

Our Community & Cultural Development team can assist by putting you in touch with the right community services to help you.

Please know that if you’re experiencing domestic & family violence, you are allowed to leave your home, no matter where you are located.

Council services to our community continue as we adapt to new COVID-19 public health orders from the NSW Government.
