Eva Kosek, professor of Clinical Pain Research, has been awarded Roland Melzack Lecture Award by the International Association for the Study of Pain.

Professor Eva Kosek at the Department of Clinical Neurosience, the Division of Neuro, received the Roland Melzack Lecture Award during the World Congress on Pain in Amsterdam, August 2024.
The price was given for her work on nociplastic pain, leading to the recognition of nociplastic pain as a third pain type in addition to nociceptive and neuropathic pain.
