A man has died in a single vehicle traffic crash this afternoon.
Initial investigations indicate around 12.30pm the man was riding his motorcycle north on Hipathites Road when he has left the roadway and hit a tree.
The rider, a local man in his forties, died at the scene.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
