The CFA’s Declared Fire Danger Period will begin in the City of Whittlesea on Monday 9 December at 1am.
This means there are extra fire restrictions including that you cannot light a fire in the open air unless you have a permit or comply with certain requirements.
These restrictions are different to a Total Fire Ban Day which can be declared at any time throughout the year.
