Morwell Divisional Response Unit have arrested two men and two women and seized an allegedly stolen vehicle, trailers, drugs and firearms following a search warrant yesterday.
With assistance from Baw Baw Crime Investigation Unit detectives, officers executed a search warrant at a property on Hearn Street just after 9am.
A 44-year-old Warragul man, 36-year-old Drouin man, 31-year-old Pakenham woman and 65-year-old Drouin woman were arrested.
Following a search of the property, officers seized:
– A Nissan Patrol worth an estimated $80,000, allegedly stolen from Ashwood on 8 July.
– Two allegedly stolen trailers
– Two imitation firearms and one samurai sword.
– Quantities of methylamphetamine, GHB, ecstasy and cannabis
– A computer allegedly stolen from a telecommunications store in Warragul on 30 June.
– An apron, a folder and a draw set, allegedly stolen from a hardware store in Warragul on 30 June.
The Warragul man was charged with theft, handle stolen goods and possess methylamphetamine.
He was remanded in custody and will face court today.
The Drouin man was charged with possess drug of dependence, possess imitation firearms, possess ammunition, handle stolen goods and possess controlled weapon.
He was bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on 13 October.
The Pakenham woman was charged with possess drug of dependence, possess imitation firearms, possess ammunition, handle stolen goods and possess controlled weapon.
She was bailed to appear at Latrobe Valley Magistrates’ Court on 13 October.
The Drouin woman was given a caution for possess cannabis.
