FREE Seniors Concert at Liverpool Catholic Club on 20 and 21 November

Liverpool City Council invites senior residents to its free Seniors Concert for a day of fantastic live performances and lunch among friends.

Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said the concert, held twice a year, was a perennial favourite among the over 60s community in Liverpool.

“Our Seniors Concert adds to Council’s calendar of fantastic community events that make our city such a wonderful place to live, work and learn,” Mayor Waller said.

“Given the enjoyable performances and welcoming atmosphere, tickets to our Seniors Concert are usually reserved in under a week.”

Visitors will enjoy the vocal stylings of the talented Paula Watt, whose charm will light up the room as she sings popular songs performed by great female entertainers, while classically trained singer David Bond’s performance will span musical genres from pop to swing.

“The seniors in our lives are invaluable sources of wisdom, providing knowledge and insight to future generations that builds on our collective achievements,” Mayor Waller said.

“The Seniors Concert is a wonderful opportunity for Council and the wider community to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions our older residents have made to our city.”

This event is open to residents of the Liverpool City Council area and members of Liverpool-based seniors groups only. Attendees must be over 60 years of age.

Tickets to the free event at Liverpool Catholic Club on 20 and 21 November can be reserved from 9am, Wednesday 30 October 2019, at www.liverpool.nsw.gov.au/seniorsconcert, over the phone on 8711 7751 or 8711 7123, or by visiting Casula Powerhouse Arts Centre.

Council will only issue one ticket per seniors card number provided and there is a limit of four tickets per person.
