Further charges over commercial cocaine supply investigation at Fairfield, NSW

Investigators have charged a third man over the alleged large commercial supply of cocaine in south-west Sydney.

On Tuesday 14 January 2020, detectives from Fairfield City Police Area Command seized more than 1kg of cocaine following a vehicle stop in Canley Heights.

A subsequent search warrant in Chipping Norton uncovered a clandestine drug laboratory which was dismantled.

Two men – aged 25 and 22 – were charged with supply prohibited drug and remain before the courts.

Following further inquiries, a search warrant was executed at a unit on Spencer Street, Fairfield, about 7.15am today (Thursday 27 February 2020), with assistance from Bass Hill Region Enforcement Squad.

During the search, police located two laser pointers and electronic devices which will undergo forensic examination.

A 32-year-old man was arrested and taken to Fairfield Police Station where he was charged with supply prohibited drug (large commercial quantity) and participate criminal group contribute criminal activity.

He was refused bail to appear before Fairfield Local Court today (Thursday 27 February 2020).
