What you should do | - Monitor conditions as they are changing and take action based on your circumstances – PREPARE TO MOVETO HIGHER GROUND
- If you have a household emergency plan, refer to it now
- Decide when and where you and other members of your home (including pets) will go if you need to leave. Plan how you will get there and advise family and friends of your plans
- Do not drive through or enter floodwater
- Pack essential items for at least 3 days such as:
ophones/chargers, important documents, ID, cash, keys, food and water, medications, and protective clothing onappies, baby formula/food, wipes – plan not to have a fridge or microwave opets, pet food, crate, bowls, lead - Help family, friends, and neighbours if you can
- If you find it hard to move quickly, leaving now is safer. If you do not drive, call your support service,family member or a friend to organise transport
- If safe to do so and if you have time:

If you have livestock - Move livestock to higher ground – open gates to other paddocks so animals can move if floodwaters rise
- Block access to low-lying fields, shelters or places near creeks and rivers
- Provide lots of food and clean water in a safe place away from creeks and rivers
- Make sure animals can be identified if they get lost
