Geelong Nature Festival highlights our coastal backyard in Portarlington

The Geelong Nature Festival is set to engage nature enthusiasts with an exciting day showcasing ‘Our Coastal Backyard’ in Portarlington. This event promises a day filled with displays, presentations, and activities centered around the unique marine environment of the region.

On Sunday 8 October immerse yourself in a day of activities including Marine Mammal Foundation’s ‘BurruVan,’ with incredible marine mammal footage, images, and acoustic listening stations awaiting your exploration.

Additionally, experts from fishing clubs and Fishcare will provide free instruction in VicFishKids sessions, including equipment and bait, making this a fantastic opportunity for young anglers.
