Governor to visit Kempsey

Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, Governor of New South Wales will visit Kempsey on Friday 30 June 2023 as part of a tour of the Mid North Coast region.

The Governor usually undertakes one regional visit per month, which reflects the Governor’s commitment to engage with communities right across the State and promote youth leadership; regional and rural growth; innovation; industry, trade and investment; inclusiveness and diversity; and service to state and community.

Her Excellency said she was looking forward to immersing ourselves in the diverse and vibrant communities of the beautiful mid-North Coast region.

“The visit provides a wonderful opportunity to learn about the innovative and exciting projects underway and to hear from local people about their challenges and achievements,” said Governor Beazley.

In Kempsey, the Governor will meet with the Shire Council, before visiting Macleay Valley Vocational College and meeting with representatives of Learning the Macleay to learn more about the Stronger Places, Stronger People Initiative.

The Governor will also visit Booroongen Djugun Residential Care and Booroongen College.
