Joondalup Detectives are investigating two car fires that occurred in Hocking between 3.30am and 4am this morning, 6 April 2019.
Unknown person(s) set fire to a Mitsubishi Lancer sedan parked in the driveway of a home on Kostas Street, as well as a Subaru Impreza parked on the road in front of the home.
Department of Fire and Emergency Services attended and extinguished the fires. Both vehicles were extensively damaged by the fire.
Detectives are urging anyone who saw any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles or who has any dash cam footage of the area around the time of the fires is asked to come forward and contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au. Callers may remain anonymous if they wish.
Rewards of up to $50,000 are available for information that leads to the apprehension and subsequent conviction of an arsonist.
