The bulk waste area at Fremantle Recycling Centre will temporarily close for upgrade works from Friday 30 October, reopening on Friday 13 November 2026.
All other areas of the Recycling Centre will remain open as usual.
Residents of the City of Fremantle and Town of East Fremantle are asked to hold onto their bulk waste until the area reopens. Anyone arriving with general bulk junk during the closure will need to take it home.
As an alternative, residents of both councils can book a Verge Valet™ collection or visit the City of Cockburn’s landfill facility, where fees apply.
Thank you for your patience while we complete these improvements to make the Recycling Centre easier to use.
