Information sought over Murray Bridge sexual assault, South Australia

Police are appealing for information after a sexual assault in Murray Bridge last week.

About 12.30am on Tuesday 7 January a woman went outside into her driveway to put rubbish in the bin when she was approached from behind by an unknown man and sexually assaulted.

A second man in the vicinity called out to the offender and he ran off, last seen heading north on Joyce Street, Murray Bridge.

The suspect is described as a man, average height and build and wearing a white hooded jumper with the hood pulled up, possibly over a peaked cap, and dark shiny parachute or nylon pants with a single white stripe down each of the pant legs.

CCTV identified in the area shows four (4) men walking in a northerly direction along Joyce Street, Murray Bridge around the time of the attack. Police would like to speak to these men as they may be able to assist with the investigation.
