About 11.50pm on Monday 19 February 2024, a 49-year-old man presented to Westmead Hospital suffering apparent stab wounds to his chest, arms and stomach.

Officers attached to Parramatta Police Area Command attended the hospital, where the man told police he had been attacked in the carpark of a supermarket on Church Street in North Parramatta earlier that evening.

Just before 10.30am yesterday (Tuesday 20 February 2024), officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command were called to Watkins Avenue in Baulkham Hills following a concern for welfare report.

On arrival, police located the body of a 39-year-old man who appeared to have several fatal stab wounds.

The man was kept under police guard while he was treated for his injuries, before being charged with three counts of murder about 9pm today (Wednesday 21 February 2024).
