A man has died after being stabbed in Sydney City overnight.
Just before 1.00am (Sunday 15 February), emergency services were called to a unit on Morehead Street, Redfern, following reports of a stabbing.
Officers from South Sydney Police Area Command attended and found a 54-year-old man with a stab wound to his back.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attempted to revive the man, but he died at the scene.
A crime scene was been established and an investigation is underway.
