A man has died following a workplace accident at an industrial site south of Wollongong.
Emergency services were called to Berkeley Road, Berkeley about 6am today (Friday 12 June 2020), following reports a man was crushed by a gate.
Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man died.
Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District attended and commenced inquiries in conjunction with SafeWork NSW.
The body, which has not yet been formally identified, is believed to be a man aged in his 60s.
A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.
