Man injured after two-vehicle crash, NSW

A man is in a critical condition following a two-vehicle crash in Sydney’s west this afternoon.

About 4pm (Friday 20 January 2023), emergency services were called to Richmond Road, near St Marys Road, at Berkshire Park, following reports of a two-vehicle crash.

On arrival, officers from Riverstone Police Area Command located the driver of a Suzuki hatchback, a 28-year-old man, suffering serious injuries.

He was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

The driver of the second vehicle, an Audi sedan, a woman believed to be aged in her 40s, was taken to Hawkesbury Hospital for treatment for minor injuries and to undergo mandatory testing.

A crime scene has been established, with investigations underway into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

As inquiries continue, any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision is urged to come forward.
