Man seriously injured during stabbing, NSW

A man has undergone surgery and remains in a serious condition following a stabbing in Sydney’s west overnight.

About 7.30pm (Wednesday 28 September 2022), emergency services responded to calls that a man had collapsed on the footpath in Cuthbert Crescent at Edensor Park.

The 21-year-old was treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics at the scene for stab wounds to his arm and leg, before being transported to Liverpool Hospital with serious injuries.

Officers attached to Fairfield Police Area Command secured a crime scene which was forensically examined by specialist police.

Police have been told two men were seen to leave in a silver-coloured Toyota Camry sedan just after the stabbing.

Investigations into the incident are currently ongoing.
