Police have charged a 54-year-old man from Midway Point with several offences relating to firearms possession.
Yesterday police executed a search at a property on Bay Road at Midway Point.
A number of items were seized from the property including firearms and explosive devices.
The man was charged last night and remanded to appear before the Hobart Magistrates Court this morning.
