Motorcyclist dies after fatal crash, NSW

A motorcyclist has died after following a fatal crash on the state’s mid-north coast today.

Just before 1pm (Saturday 23 October 2021), a 65-year-old man was travelling west on the Oxley Highway at Huntingdon on his BMW motorcycle when he it collided with Mazda Utility travelling on the same road.

The man was thrown from his bike and witnesses rendered first aid; however, the rider died at the scene.

Officers attached to the Mid North Coast Police District attended and established a crime scene.

The 63-year-old driver of the utility was taken to Port Macquarie District Hospital for mandatory testing.

Investigations are continuing into the circumstances surrounding the crash are continuing.

A brief will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
