Narrogin house fire

Narrogin Detectives continue to seek information regarding a fire at a house in Narrogin on Friday 1 September 2023.

Sometime between 3am and 4am, a woman and two children were inside the house on Ensign Street when the fire was detected. Fortunately, they were able to escape the fire unharmed.

Department of Fire and Emergency Services personnel attended the scene and extinguished the fire.

The fire had spread through a large portion of the home, with smoke damage spreading through the entire residence. The fire is estimated to have caused about $100,000 damage.

Arson Squad detectives attended and conducted a fire scene examination and the cause of the fire has been deemed suspicious.

Anyone with information relating to this fire, or who heard or saw anything suspicious in Ensign Street or the surrounding area between 3am and 4am on the day of the fire, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au.

Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
