New facilities for students at King’s Christian College – Logan Village Campus

Staff and students at King’s Christian College in Logan Village will benefit from the new primary school facilities being funded as part of the Morrison Government’s Capital Grants Program.

Minister for Education and Youth Alan Tudge and Member for Forde Bert van Manen today opened the primary school building including general and flexible learning areas, a staff room, amenities, and a car park.

“These new, state of the art facilities will make a huge difference in the daily lives of the students and teachers at King’s Christian College,” Minister Tudge said.

“The Morrison Government has invested $2.3 million into this project and in doing so we are giving these local students the best chance possible to reach their full potential at school and go on to further study or into a job.

“The project is part of our record funding for Australian schools and will benefit not just current students, but those who study at King’s Christian College for years to come.”

Mr van Manen said the contemporary learning facilities would equip students with the skills to be successful both during and after school.

“It was a pleasure to visit King’s Christian College – Logan Village Campus in Logan Village to see the new facilities and hear about the positive impact it will have on the entire school community,” Mr van Manen said.
