Police are issuing a fresh appeal for information following an armed robbery in the state’s south earlier this year.
About 2.55am on Tuesday 3 September 2019, a man attended an ATM on Sharp Street, Cooma to withdraw cash.
Two men allegedly approached the man and threatened him with firearms before demanding cash.
The man complied and withdrew an amount of cash, before he was allegedly struck in the head with the firearm.
The two men fled the scene in a silver sedan in a northerly direction.
The man sustained minor injuries and lacerations as a result of the alleged incident.
Officers from Monaro Police District commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed two men in the area around the time of the alleged incident.
The first man is described as wearing a blue hooded jumper, brown long pants and brown shoes.
The second man is described as wearing a black and white hooded jumper, black shorts with a white emblem and black and white shoes.
As investigations into the robbery continue, police are urging anyone who may have information or dashcam/CCTV to contact Queanbeyan police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
