NSW police charge woman over drug supply in Sydney CBD

An English National has been charged with drug supply after a search warrant in Sydney.

Officers from Sydney City Police Area Command have been conducting investigations into the suspected supply of drugs from a unit on Sussex Street, Sydney.

About 4.35pm yesterday (Wednesday 23 April 2019), police executed a search warrant at the premises, arresting a 34-year-old woman.

Inside the unit, police allegedly located a litre of the drug GHB, ten grams of methylamphetamine, four LSD tabs, prescription medication, and about 200 grams of an unknown white powder.

Drug paraphernalia and three high-value bicycles, suspected of being stolen, were also seized during the warrant.

The woman, an English National in Australia unlawfully, was charged with supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug (x3) possess prescribed restricted substance, and occupier knowingly allow premises to be used as a drug premise.

She is expected to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 22 May 2019.

The woman is now expected to be detained by Australian Border Force (ABF).

Whilst police were at the premises, a 41-year-old man attended the home and was searched by officers.

He was found to be in possession of a small quantity of methamphetamine and issued a Field Court Attendance Notice for possess prohibited drug.

He is expected to appear at Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 29 May 2019.
