A petition is calling for the increased police presence at Glenelg, which was introduced for the summer months, to be made permanent and year-round.
Hard copies of the petition are available to sign now at the Brighton Civic Centre, and at the Brighton and Glenelg libraries.
The petition acknowledges and thanks the State Government for the temporary introduction of the requested Police Tactical Response Team, and calls for it be made permanent.
The petition is available to sign until 28 March 2022 after which it will be presented to members of parliament.
