Police appeal to locate child missing from Tregear

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney’s west.

Vula Tanuku, aged 9, was last seen on Ellsworth Driver, Tregear, about 1.35pm today (Wednesday 10 January 2024).

Officers from Mt Druitt Police Area Command were notified about his disappearance and immediately commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Vula’s welfare due to his age.

He is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 150cm tall, thin build with short brown curly hair brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a black jumper, black shorts with magpies printed and green crocs.

It is believed that he was on bus 758, known to operate between Sydney CBD, Blacktown and Parramatta areas.

Anyone with information into Vula’s whereabouts is urged to contact Mt Druitt Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
