Police appeal to locate teenage boy missing from Punchbowl

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Sydney’s south-west.

Adam Hmaidi, aged 14, was last seen leaving a home in Lakemba about 4pm today (16 March 2023).

He was reported missing to officers from Campsie Police Area Command who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concern for his welfare due to his age.

Adam is described as Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 165cm tall, of large build, and has short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey shirt, black pants, grey Nike shoes and carrying a black gym bag.

He is believed to be in the Punchbowl area riding a grey and white mountain bicycle.

Anyone who may have seen Adam’s or has information regarding his whereabouts is urged to contact Campsie Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
