A man has died following a single vehicle crash in Cardinia this morning.
Police have been told a passing motorist noticed the crashed Ford Territory in a ditch on Ballarto Road shortly after 2am.
The motorist raised the alarm and emergency services attended the crash.
Sadly, the driver from the crashed car was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
