Police are investigating a fatal collision in Dunolly last week.
Emergency services responded after a motorcycle was travelling southeast along McKinnon Road when it struck a kangaroo about 6.45am on Wednesday 2 April.
The rider, a 63-year-old Dunolly man, was taken to hospital but later died in hospital on 9 April.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
