Bairnsdale Highway Patrol are investigating a fatal crash in Wy Yung this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Bullumwaal Road and Eastwood Road, following reports a car had struck a tree about 12.30pm.
Sadly, the female driver and sole occupant of the car, died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined.
