Forensic Crash Unit officers are investigating a single vehicle traffic crash north of Gin Gin.
A white 4WD was located off the road in Boundary Gully at Kolonga by emergency services crews around 3.20pm this afternoon.
The female driver and sole occupant was declared deceased at the scene.
The woman left Hervey Bay on Wednesday morning to travel to Blackwater.
