Homicide Squad detectives have charged a man following the discovery of a woman’s body at The Basin this afternoon.
Police were called to the Mount View Road residence about 12.40pm where they located the 87-year-old woman deceased.
The 88-year-old man from The Basin has been charged with one count of murder and will appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
