Police charge man with further sexual assaults after meeting woman on dating sites

Sex Assault Squad detectives have charged a man with further offences as a result of their ongoing investigation into alleged sexual assaults.

The man was charged earlier this year in relation to an incident that occurred in 2018, and it was alleged he attended the home of a woman he met on a dating site, and sexually assaulted her.

Sex Assault Squad detectives reviewed old cases due to this new information and with improved technology identified an incident in 2012 and another one in 2013 in which women were sexually assaulted after meeting a man through a dating site.

It is alleged the man sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s in March 2012 and another woman in her 20s in November 2013.

The 38-year-old man from Highgate has been charged with:-

• Nine counts of Sexual Penetration without Consent; and

• One count of Unlawful and Indecent Assault.

He is due to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court today, 26 July 2019.
