Police have today charged a 24-year-old woman with wounding in relation to an ongoing investigation into an incident on Main Street at Currie on Saturday.
A 29-year-old man received multiple wounds during the incident and was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital for medical treatment. His injuries were not life threatening and he has since been released.
The woman was bailed to appear before the Burnie Court at a later date.
Police confirm this was an isolated incident and there is no ongoing threat to the community.
