A 15-year-old youth appeared before an out-of-hours Youth Justice Court last night on 11 counts of Destroying Property, 1 Count of Stealing and 1 count of Assaulting Police.
The charges related to windows damaged on businesses and Burnie City Council assets on Wilmot Street, Burnie, overnight 9-10 August.
Total cost of damage, which included a motor vehicle at a private residence, and related charges amounted to over $100,000.
