Police investigate armed robbery at Darling Heights

Two teenage boys have been arrested and charged over an alleged armed robbery in Toowoomba last night

At around 12.15am, four armed youths with bladed instruments and a baseball bat, forced entry into a Darling Heights home.

Upon entering the home they have threatened the occupants and stolen a number of items before stealing two motor vehicles.

No one was injured during the incident.

At 2.15am police located one of the vehicles, a Holden Commodore sedan, on the Warrego Highway at Heildon and three people were taken into custody.

As a result of investigations two youths were charged with entering a dwelling with intent, armed robbery, unlawful use of motor vehicle and wilful damage. They will appear in the Toowoomba Children’s Court.

The other youth located in Heildon will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act in relation to separate matters.
